Promoting Collaboration and International Partnership to Combat and Mitigate Human Trafficking
It will be held on the Tampa campus of the University of South Florida on October 1-3, 2014.
The forum has been organized by the Institute for the Study of Latin America and the Caribbean (ISLAC) in consultation with the U.S. Southern Command. The forum is intended to promote a dialogue between representatives of constituencies working to combat human trafficking, including academics, law enforcement, local, state and federal agencies, and NGO's. We hope to break down some of the barriers that exist in research and policy- making between international and domestic trafficking as well as between sex trafficking and labor trafficking.
